So I was messing around on my xbox yesterday (and by messing around, I mean playing something in Halo, not dancing atop it) and it decided to crash. I thought maybe it was a bad HDMI cable, so I grabbed another one I had, and it crashed again. I tried a few more times, it crashed, then I turned it on, and what do I find? The infamous 3 rings of death. I have to say, in a 360 vs Ps 3 war, I'm all in on the 360, but this still is kinda gay. So now I've gotta send my xbox off to Microsoft. They're sending me a box with a pre-paid shipping label, so once that's there it's supposed to be 2-3 weeks for the new one to come. It's annoying, but since my little bro also has a 360, it'll only slow down production a little (hopefully). Episode 9's gonna be tricky because we have 5 people in the same scene at the same time, so we're gonna have to play with it. We'll get it working, though. The good news is that only my xbox is being shipped away, not my hard drive, meaning all the forge stuff we have set up for the upcoming episodes and all the profiles (we have, for the most part, one profile per character, except for those that have the xbox-live unlocked helmets, like Dar and Barlow).
As far as consistency in release dates, I think that's pretty much gone out the window at this point. It sucks, but what can you do? It wouldn't've worked passed Episode 10, anyway. The new Underoath album's coming out on Tuesday, I'm super stoked for that. You should all buy it, and especially NOT download it. I don't care what you think or believe, you are stealing from the artist and from the record company (who spent literally tens of thousands of dollars on the recording; trust me, those things don't come cheap). Really, downloading it is WORSE than walking into a store and stealing the CD, because the store has to pay the record company some money in order to get it there in the first place. That's my rant. In short, my xbox died, don't download music. God bless!
