Well, my sister tells me that if I blog consistently, then somehow people will pay attention. I have my doubts, but it is a new week, and I feel like it, so here you go. Started some of the audio editing, and I have a picture. That must make me super cool. As you can probably tell from the picture, the editing is in the earliest stage, which is even more early due to the fact that Ryan's lines have yet to be recorded, as well as some Galactica lines (since I can do those any time).
EDIT:
And, just for the heck of it,
EDIT 2:
I've come across a few new bands, one in particular I really like, as well as some I've discovered in the last few months. So you get a playlist today.

War of Ages - "Arise and Conquer"
mewithoutYou - "Brother, Sister", "Catch for Us the Foxes", "A to B Life"

I would like to point out that I can comment on my own post. That being said, this is the best blog I've ever read in the entirety of my existence. Also, Pandora just started playing "Like Moths to Flame" by Thrice, and that's a great song. Heck yes.
How much did it even cost to have all this software?
Celtx, the screen writing software, is free. Logic Express runs for $200 (though Amazon.com sells if for around $160, not really sure how they get around Apple's nazi pricing, but it works for me). The software is the cheapest part, though. Granted, doing voices as we do, a $20 mic will do just fine, but being a sound engineer\producer\song writer requires a bit more quality, going anywhere from $100 mics to sometimes in the thousands (of course, I'm too poor for that, and $100-200 mics work well enough for me). And then there's always instruments and stomp boxes\effects pedals; it is without a doubt the most expensive hobby, and there's always new stuff to buy. It's a vicious cycle. Of course, when you're actually out on the road and trying to start a career, it's all tax deductible, but sadly, I'm not there yet.
